Dear Speakers, Participants, Research Fellows, and Partners,

Welcome to V-BRYGE 2024!

Moving into its fourth year, V-BRYGE is a flagship annual event of Vanguard Think Tank, an organization founded and operated by students around the globe. V-BRYGE has always sought to provide a diverse and inclusive platform for global youth, scholars, and experts to exchange ideas and propose solutions to critical issues.

We chose “Transition” as the keyword for V-BRYGE 2024, which is underpinned by three tracks: 1) Sustainability and Economic Development, 2) Technology and Innovation, 3) Cultural Exchange and Diplomacy. As we enter the post-pandemic era, the road ahead of us does not seem to get clear. We are confronted with opposing forces: high inflation and deflationary pressures, extreme weather and the pursuit of clean energy, alongside the challenges of deglobalization and the push for reintegration.

Navigating this terrain and advancing development is imperative. V-BRYGE 2024 is committed to shedding light on these issues, offering critical insights to the next generation, and forging a path for the transition towards a better future!

We are thrilled to announce that, unlike past V-BRYGEs, this year’s V-BRYGE will be hybrid with on-site sessions at Johns Hopkins SAIS, Washington D.C. We look forward to your participation and see you next cherry-blossom season!
