Even as our conference sub-themes have already been finalized (check out earlier blog posts for more in-depth information on them), all of us on the organizing committee have been keeping an eye on the headlines. All of our themes engage critical, contemporary issues that are changing by the day. Shaping this conference to build bridges between states, cultures, and peers means interacting with breaking news surrounding China and its contemporaries around the world.
